Scout Gaming and Metric Gaming Strike Partnership to Target US Market
Scout Gaming Group and Metric Gaming have struck a partnership to target the US gambling market.
Scout Gaming, a licensed and regulated provider of daily fantasy sports and pool betting, will be able to expand its services within the US market by partnering with the Las Vegas-based real-time sports data and betting platform provider.
The deal gives both companies access to each other’s products and, according to the official announcement, both firms will jointly develop new products with the intention to combine fantasy sports games and sports betting.
In addition to this, Metric Gaming will provide traditional sports betting products for Scout Gaming’s Betflex application, SBC News reports.
Scout Gaming CEO, Andreas Ternström said in a statement: “Through the collaboration, a leading offer for the American market, where Metric Gaming resides, will be created.
“At the same time, Scout Gaming gets an even broader offering for the European market by gaining access to sports odds.”
Martin De Knijff, the CEO of Metric Gaming, commented: “We see great potential in the partnership with Scout Gaming since our products complement each other perfectly.
“To come up with a full-scale offering consisting of the two best products on the market is something I believe will be nothing short of successful.”
The US Gambling Market
Both Scout Gaming and Metric Gaming have experienced an increased demand for their products in the United States after the US Supreme Court’s ruling to suspend a federal ban on sports betting in New Jersey earlier this year.
Many companies have begun targeting the United States and several US-based casino firms have already launched their own sports betting mobile apps, including MGM Resorts, The Stars Group and 888.
