Wazdan Launches In Romania After Acquiring New Gambling License
Wazdan has launched in Romania after acquiring a gambling license to operate in the country.
The game developer, which is known for games such as Power Of Gods: The Pantheon and Larry The Leprechaun, announced the news this week, revealing that it has launched 30 of its top games in the country after acquiring a gambling license for the region earlier this month.
According to Wazdan, the new license marks a significant step into the regulated Romanian market. The games, which include the Magic Stars series and more, will be made available in the country through direct integrations with casino sites and via aggregators such as Playtech, iSoftBet, and EveryMatrix.
In addition to games, Wazdan will allow customers based in Romania to access its Unique Wazdan Features which include Ultra Fast Mode to speed up gameplay, Volatility Levels which allow players to adjust volatility, as well as the Ultra-Lite Mode and the Battery Saving Mode for users on portable devices.
Speaking about the new license, Wazdan’s Head of Sales Andrzej Hyla said: “Receiving certification in Romania is a big win for Wazdan, allowing us to support our partners better and expand our footprint across Europe. We are delighted to offer to Romanian players and operators our pick of the top 30 best Wazdan games to mark this new market and set the foundations for strong relationships to come.”
Wazdan’s Quick Growth
Wazdan’s recent certification marks the sixth European market the developer can operate in, following markets including the UK, Sweden, Malta, Latvia, and Lithuania. Meanwhile, Wazdan is reportedly finalising licenses to operate in Denmark, Portugal, and Spain, all of which are set to complete later this year.
In addition to acquiring new licenses, Wazdan is also signing content agreements with various firms. Wazdan’s most recent agreement was signed with slots provider and aggregator MrSlotty which will reportedly offer Wazdan’s complete portfolio of content to its casino operator partners across Europe and Asia.
Previous agreements have been made with leading operator and PlayOJO Casino owner SkillOnNet, games aggregation platforms Salsa Technology and Slotegrator, Hungarian casino site Grand Casino, as well as sports betting sites and casinos Betclic and Expekt, and plenty more.
Meanwhile, Wazdan has been developing and releasing new video slots including recent launches such as Neon City, Butterfly Lovers, Magic Stars 9, and Power Of Gods: The Pantheon. The developer is set to release a slew of new content over the year including games such as Black Horse Deluxe, Sonic Reels, Lucky 9, Power Of Gods: Egypt, Sic Bo Dragons, and more.
